Soriana’s origins date back to 1905 in the city of Torreon, Coahuila, when Don Pascual Borque established a business called The Soriana, dedicated to selling fabric through a counter. Gradually the business grew and in 1920 was selling fabrics, clothing and novelties such as perfumes and household items among others. In the thirties, when the founders of the company and Don Francisco Don Armando Martin Borque are integrated into the family business, La Soriana marketed wholesale merchandise, covering Lagunera and much of the mountains of Chihuahua and Sonora.
